AS we are so not talkative lately I thought I would start a thread where we can talk about latest episodes. Like the finally subbed 154 where the Chicken from Hell appears. Did anyone else feel the need to make clucking noises for filler noise? Is anyone else happy to see Fluffy back? Common peoples comments, reactions, proof of life?

"Finally subbed"? I thought that episode was subbed three weeks ago...
Anyway, to me, 154 was kind of a let-down after the intensity of 153. It was mostly Inu and Kikyou talking, Kagome getting angsty, and the giant chicken of DOOM making her first and last appearance. Actually, 154-156 are mostly just build-up to 157, where everything finally lets loose.

...I can't even remember 154. What happened in 154? *goes back to look* Oh yeah! Byebye Chicken Little! I think I remember being particularly filled with vengeance that night, so I went out and ate Chicken McTekkei for dinner. And I also remember that there really wasn't anything in particular that stood out in that episode, it flew by so fast. So it felt like they didn't really try to focus on any one particluar aspect of those chapters. I would have expected Tekkei and Abi-hime's death to be played out (hell, the demon HORSE got his dramatic death moment, why didn't the chickens get THEIRS?!!! XD) Let's see, let's see... skipping ahead to episdoe 157. Hellyes. Kongousouha. That was like... THE moment I was waiting to see since last year and it felt like a nuclear explosion and nothing was left standing afterwards. Major rush!! Of course, after that, 158 and 159 felt kinda slooow. In a way. As much as I loved chapter 332, of course the next really big thing I'm looking forward to is Inuyasha with stripes. Can't wait to see him. Although with them now making chop-suey out of the anime schedule, it totally threw off any predictions on where certain episodes were going to fall, so I have no idea when that's going to be. ...although all I can hope for is that Sakuma doesn't get him. XD

Oh man. Sadly enough My comment on 159 is did anyone else think Miroku looked really cute in his band-aids? I mean there it is a sweet touching moment and all I could think of is he is cute in those bandaids. Maybe I need therapy!
Talking ahead a little any word on what 161 is about?

Talking ahead a little any word on what 161 is about? I guess I'll put this here, too: Episode 161: The Monk Miroku's Past MistakeShima, a girl whom Miroku once cured of sickness, is now betrothed to a youkai of the lake and seeks Miroku to help end her plight. Miroku is to become her fiancee in order to help her, but this unknowingly incites Sango's wrath. Episode 162: Together Forever with Sesshoumaru-samaRin is abducted by a youkai who has been carrying off village children one by one. The monk Ungai (? not sure on my reading of this. Could also be "Kumohate") sets out to slay the youkai, but when he finally finds its hideaway... (taken from Animate.tv)

Really, I'm thrilled to have more Rin/Sess screentime, but can't they come up with a new and interesting plot device that features these two?

edit: Im an idiot, I already have 156 and 157 I get mixed up, there are so many episodes these days. Ok, so on to my comments. SPOILERS. The whole anime is still great, and on some levels I wish it would never end. However, it is becoming a little rediculous that Naraku cant die unless there is a full moon on the third leap year of the 18th millenium and Inuyasha and Fluffy sing 'Old MacDonald Had a Farm' or something. We definatley need to start getting into some arcs that will help resolve the main issues of the anime; the shikon shard, fluffy and Inuyasha, what Inuyasha will do in terms of becoming a full youkai and of course the kikyou/kagome situation. Also, having watched Movie three recently, I can say without a doubt that this show needs 100% more of Inu-Papa . Learning about Fluffy's past as well as Inuyasha's was neat as well..if they are going to do filler, they should do it about things like that!

MOVIE 3 SPOILERS AHOY
Ok, one thing I forgot to add in my last post:
Movie 3 gave me some insight as to why Fluffy might keep Rin around. Not for her own good, as it might seem, but so that he has something to protect, which would make him more powerful.
Thoughts?

Wow I finally managed to get a copy of 160. They did it they animated one of My favorite manga chapters and It was even funnier watching kagome's eyebrow twitch! Of course the whole Souta trying to stop Inuyasha was really Funny too. Did anyone else enjoy this as much As I did?

well I laughed at 161 but 162 dosn't look that promising. I mean it looked to be a bunch of monks attacking Fluffysama. Well it isn't as If I won't watch.

What you saw was the ending to a Sega game that was released in Japan a few years ago. It's the one with Naraku (in his pre-Hakureizan form) getting sealed/purified by Kikyou, and the jewel shatters again, right?
