Obviously they have great tunes ;D but I think the fact that they're not in English has a lot to do with why they never get old to me. I can't understand the lyrics, so it's always someting new to my mind, and so my mind never gets tired of it Aah, foreign music is great XD Or maybe I'm just insane and nobody will respond to this post o.o

Yeah I agree with Yura Yura too! Everytime I try to sing it I mess up sooner or later. They always stay new to me & I love it. Like YuraYura said, foreign music is great, better than great its fantastic. Music that never gets old, how did they think of that one??

If you listen to foreign music, it never gets tiring because it's different. Obviously the language is different, but the style and what they put in their lyrics are different too.
If you do understand Japanese, you could tell that the songwriter made all their effort writing it. The lyrics are really thoughtful and outstanding. That's why I love J-Pop!!!!

When I had bought the 2nd movie, I had listened to the commentary & special features. They talked about how they made, listen, & related to the music. It was touching ;DLOL Now getting off the subject: Plus when I first heard the Japanese version of Teen Titans I really liked it, even though I knew what the word meant. Plus Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi Show, ooh I love that song I sing it all the time. Well the Puffy Ami Yumi part!! I also like some of the songs I've heard so far from them. I like the quick songs, not so much for their slow songs. Since they are a rock group!

Boyband-sounding music is irritating in any language... XD Which is why I don't really like much J-pop and ONLY like Inuyasha songs BECAUSE they're Inuyasha songs. ^_^ The only singers I kinda like now are Tackey & Tsubasa and Hitomi Shimatani. The other groups, I just like their Inuyasha songs. --- But I do like Inuyasha's themes because I DO know what they're saying a lot of the time and some of the lyrics are really nice, plus a lot of the melodies are either really catchy ("Change the World," anyone?), and make you want to dance ("Come," dare I say?), or just plain gorgous ("Four Seasons" and "Rakuen" come to mind.) As for the background music... dude. It's Kaoru Wada. He's AMAZING. Simply amazing. I have to read Inuyasha manga with the music playing in the background sometimes to get the mood going.

((Speaking of Tackey, it was his birthday a couple of days ago!!!! Happy belated birthday Tackey!!!))
OK back to the topic! If you asked me which J-pop singers I like, then I will give you a huge list of them and 85% will be the one's singing the Inuyasha songs.
One singer I really wish to sing one of the Inuyasha OP/ED is Otsuka Ai. Her recording label thingy is avex, and her songs are really nice so I hope she will sing it.

I don't know why, but I love "I Am", it's just really catchy. I like "My Will" and "Come" too. As for J-pop and J-rock, I really like Asian Kungfu Generation, Lar'c en Ciel, and for some insane reason, V6 just makes me smile . I have no idea what they're saying when they sing, but that doesn't bother me much considering I sang opera in college and didn't understand half the stuff I was singing anyway (good music is good music in any language). I also agree with Kuro that Kaoru Wada is very talented! The backround music in Inuyasha is wonderful! Oh yeah, and as a side note, the opening theme to "Chobits" is very catchy too.
