XD Yeah, I almost feel like I should draw a secondary chapter image for that, since it is cute that I get to lecture him. Dammit, you hit me with the doodle bug. -- I may actually end up coloring this and using it as a second chapter image, but the tip of his sword extends kind of annoyingly far back and a squared-off image would leave this big blank spot behind him. I don't usually like cropping off pieces of chapter images, but if I want to use this one, looks like he's gonna have to get his tip snipped. Okay um..."tip snipped"...ow just bad...bad things going through...ouch. Also there's so many potently captions going through my head for that one. -Papa finds the angst-off-switch. -Akagane goes to the school of hard knocks. -Papa: Stop that! Akagane: The angst! We loveses it!There were more initially but...they got less funny the more I thought about them :x... So then if you say you're good with hugs then here! *huuuug!*

All right, it's been resized and colored and added as a second chapter illustration to chapter 34. And Akagane's precious tip managed to be spared from the chopping block, too! Congratulations on this chapter being the first to get more than one image! Well, unless you count chapter 25's "split screen" image. And, yes, I know the "bukket" image goes with that chapter, too, but I don't really intend to color and post that one as an "official" chapter illustration. ^_^* Also there's so many potently captions going through my head for that one. -Papa finds the angst-off-switch. -Akagane goes to the school of hard knocks. -Papa: Stop that! Akagane: The angst! We loveses it!Sadly, when you mentioned image captions, I looked at the image and the first thing that came to mind was "Akagane gets fisted." ... Make it stop. x__X

Which is....impressive o.o;. You realize you're also the one who started the bukket joke too...right? :3

CRAP, is the understatement of the century. Although I had a feeling there was something sneaky about Kogane. As for the story, just go with the flow. I understand it's sometimes hard to know what to put down, but you should write what feels right to you. (heehee) There's lots of angst in life, but lots of happyhappy joyjoy, too. Go For It. Neat pics, Hanyou no Miko! Will you be doing some more for Inu-papa's story? Hinthint. Was "offline," figuratively speaking this last week do to "MALWARE" infecting my computer. Ugh! Had to dump and reboot(??) several times. Boring. Just a warning to all you out there to be careful.

Man, the sketchdump got me inspired to do a bit of doodling myself. Here's one of something that would be kind of difficult to work into the actual story given it's kind of hard to do flashbacks of any other characters in a first-person story. But there's been discussion enough about how Akagane was a child prodigy in smithing and was making pointy objects since he was a little kid, so I thought I'd see if I could envision what a child version of Mister Emo Tight-Pants might look like: As the theme of the memoirs goes: all hot guys started out as cute kids. I'm getting there. Oh, and as for the story itself, unless I have a major epiphany, I'm expecting the next chapter to come out a bit later than the usual Tuesday/Wednesday release since I both work every day in between, and I'm kind of short on ideas. I know where I'm going, I just need to figure out how to get there in an interesting and believable manner.

Umm...shit! Hanyounomiko I know you! I've seen you at Animenext! You've done an Izayoi costume and I remember at AN 07 you were walking around with a girl who was cosplaying as Sesshy's mother and holding up signs that you were looking for Inu-papa who...might actually show up this year...:3 *hint*

I don't believe we had an actual one on one conversation with each other; I remember at AN06 you took a picture of my friend (she was in a Yuuko costume) but outside of that I just know you by sight. Still kind of startling to have known (relatively speaking) some one here in person before seeing them in text ^^;. Will you be going to AN this year?

Was she the "first episode" Yuuko? I think I still have that picture around. I'll be going again this year, although I probably won't be wearing my Izayoi costume. I have a bunch of new outfits I'd like to try out instead which are much higher quality and involved a lot more skill to make, so I'll be wearing those. I'll look forward to seeing you, though!

Yes, she was in the Time Space Witch costume (long back dress). I was with her actually, I was Kisa from Fruits Basket but you probably didn't notice me next to her. Well I was kinda hoping you were going to be going as Izayoi (I had a idea to walk around with a pair of sun glasses on and run away if you spotted me and do other silly things) but if there's more things to show off then by all means, go for it! Inu-Papa was just going to be more of a wearable costume for me, seeing as how the other two I have either are long dramatic (and heavy) robes, or a short skirt I can't sit down too fast in because I get a total up skirt x.x;.

Actually, if you were Kisa then I remember you! Wow! Small world, huh? Yeah, I've recently made a bunch of Avatar cosplays, and I'm working on an Adiane cosplay (from Gurren Lagann) that involves a full corset as well as a ton of applique and possibly trapunto work. All of them are a lot more difficult to make than kimono (and, unlike the Izayoi costume which is ancient, they're actually made of good fabric), so I sort of want to show them off (especially since they're brand new). Plus it'll be nice to have (for once) cosplay that's not too hot or close for the weather on top of being easy to move in.

I vaguely remember you mentioning you actually had to kind of scurry around in Izzy's costume because of all the layers and what not. One of the costumes I did was the Mirror Card from Card Captor Sakura and the sleeves on that thing are insane and for that reason I probably won't be wearing it this summer...though I don't know what the Double Tree looks like so...I'm still thinking of all the out door space of the Expo. Center. I would love to be able to make intricate costumes and harder pieces but ^^; The most I know about sewing is what I can figure out on my own through trial and error so its pretty much "the pieces *should* look like this, and go together like *this*". Ahh...I was looking through my Convention pictures and I found one of you hugging the guy who went as the "Demon" Inuyasha...I always liked that pic.
