What he MEANT to write was "Yonhyakuhachi", which is written like this:

and means, as was said, four hundred and eight.

Something tells me that Akagane was up with the numbers very, VERY late. Maybe they should let Hshui deal with them from now on. SHE seems to know what she is doing!!

Hey everyone, I'm new! ^.^ I just started reading the Memoirs yesterday, and its amazing! I only stopped reading it twice: Once for a super quick dinner, and then when my dad made me go to bed. It was around chapter 57 (I don't remember exactly), and I stayed up sobbing until 1:30, when he gave in and let me finish. I'm so tired today. xD

Little Inu No Taisho is so ADORABLE!!! Sorry, that was random, but I just had to say it. Because, you know, he is. =P

Oh, and everything's seemed perfectly logical and everyone in-character to me so far, but I don't really stop to think about what I'm reading until about my third re-read. But, alas, I have homework to do before I can read it again. =(

Hey, thanks for reading and welcome to the board! You kinda lucked out that I (finally) managed to update again today.

I move in two weeks, and hopefully once that's all taken care of, I'll have more time to write (I currently spend two hours a day commuting, at the new place it'll be 20 minutes). Still busy packing and buying all the necessities I'll need, but since it's a holiday weekend I had some extra time to get some writing done.

Congrats on the move. I wish I didn't have to take so long (thirty-five plus minutes). Only consolation is I go so early, I miss the traffic.

Just added a brand new subsection of the Memoirs area of the site. I consolidated most of the artwork I've been randomly posting here and posted it to the site in the Memoirs Picture Book. Not all of the incidental artwork is there, though, since some of it is a tad on the inappropriate side, but... that's still okay to post here. The section also contains fanart from others who have submitted their series artwork to me.

Since I don't want to give out my e-mail address that widely, I gave the instruction that art submissions be posted to this thread, either as a link or an attachment. Hopefully that won't be too hard for people to figure out.

Sorry for lurking again. I am still a humongous fan of Memoirs, and check your site every day (well, via RSS) for updates. I love your picture book! Thou it'd be even more awesome if you had a subcategory for chapter illustrations. Those are so cute. xD

EDIT: If anyone's interested, I'm using this feed for Memoirs. Of course, if the chapter menu gets modified, I'm screwed.

Oh Kawaii! This is a great idea! In fact, when I went through there, there was some pics I think I missed. (I still think you should take the chibis (especially your lovable self) and make t-shirts and sell them. )

Yay, another chapter! Happy day! ^.^ Wow, Wan-chan got so huge, Akagane looks tiny next to him! I hope the potion thing works, I miss Wan-chan's puppy form. =( I also hope he gets new clothes soon. He only has his pants left now, and even those are half gone! xP

Unfortunately, he'll never be a puppy again. He's growing up now, so the best you're going to get from here is a pre-teen puppy. He will be getting new clothes shortly, though, as soon as I can figure out what *is a fashion dunce*

That's a great idea, I'd totally buy a shirt with chibi you on it! =D In fact, I'd probably buy everyone else as well. My favorite thing to blow all my money on is shirts with anime characters on them. I have too many. >.< But there's always room for Wan-chan! ^.^

Unfortunately, shirts are only really worth making and selling if you can do so in bulk, since it costs so much to make just a few custom shirts that the price tag to resell them would be prohibitively expensive (I have no intention of charging someone $25 for a piece of my artwork).

Woo, thank you Puppy! He was so laid back when he first showed up. And used contractions and stuff. Yeah, it took me a few chapters to really solidify his personality and speaking style.

I've added the picture to the Picture Book, along with a new one of my own. Since Hisui has kind of complicated hair, I figured she had better get a design reference like the guys do:

Hey guys; popping in to say I'm not dead, just been having some life issues that resulted in me going into airplane mode to sort myself out. I'll probably be around again more from now on, especially now that I've caught up and hnngh somewhat-older Inu-Papa is awesome-looking with that hair. I think I must draw him.

He'll finally be getting some new clothes in the next chapter, though... as soon as I can come up with a design for them, since it's going to be hard to top what he was wearing before.

... Unless you prefer him shirtless. It doesn't matter how built he's gotten, he's still 13.
