Sigh. Life's a bit..... ahhh, bummer. Well you saved the day, but at some cost to you and poor Hisui. Definitely have some anger management issues there, you do. Maybe learning meditation would help. Or a good psychiatrist! Definitely need to find out more about Daddy-o now, I think.  Petting, I think. Otherwise she'd scare him off.  |

On a more serious note, though, I hope I'm not boring people too much with all the angst. Mini-me is at a tough point right now because he just lost his mom, found out he killed a bunch of people, can't seem to do anything right to make up for it, and is suddenly at the emotionally unbalanced age of 13. But the aftermath has gone on for, like, 6 chapters now and I'm wondering if it's starting to drag. The problem is that I don't want him over this too quickly, and there's a lot of catching up to do since he's been gone for four years.
Also, yeah, started a new job a couple weeks ago that's full-time and requires an hour commute each way on top of that, so I'm a bit short of time to work on the site anymore, but I'm still trying to keep updates regular.

And I have to get up at 4:30AM! Yech! Congrats on the new job, though. |

Argh, sorry about the lax updates lately. I've been busy the past two weekends, and my boss is giving me a lot of grief which is putting me under too much stress to really think straight. So, until that all gets cleared up, I don't know how often I'll be able to update. But just letting you know I haven't abandoned you.

Awww. No more wailing and beating of breast, and putting ashes on your head? No more self-accusations, and taking the sins of the world on your shoulders?? No more Hisui petting Wan-chan's head and comforting him??? Heehee! (Just kidding!) ;D So hopefully we are getting back to "the Mystery" of Inu-Papa's origins. Down and dirty in other words. Chapter 62 is up, and within it is a Japanese joke that I'm sure needs further explanation. Yeah, you'll get the gist of its implication in the story, but to get an idea of exactly what they're looking at.
Chapter 62 contains a nonsense word "Saihakujin" which is written as such:
¼”’l
and would mean something like "west-white-person".
What he MEANT to write was "Yonhyakuhachi", which is written like this:
Žl•S”ª
and means, as was said, four hundred and eight.
