I've never read RAW manga so I don't know how Sessho calls Rin (in Japanese) Based on the degree of expression, we can tell how Sessho feels about Rin. Btw, If you know where to find RAW manga, please tell me

I believe she does call him Sesshoumaru-sama. And as for the raw manga you could try asking the mod here (Patches) since she translates it. XDD

I just can't help myself.
How does Sesshoumaru call Rin?
Anything he wants to.

I guess I'm kind of wondering the same thing. If Sesshoumaru attaches any sort of honorific to the end of her name or if he simply calls her "Rin".
He should start calling her: "My Preccccioussssss...."
I don't know why. I think it would be funny.

I don't think Sesshoumaru ever called her anything but Rin. In fact, most everyone called her Rin (or "hey you!" haha) I think there was one time that someone used an honorific. I couldn't find it, but didn't Kagome call her Rin-chan once? I believe that it is a friendly title, used by an older person toward a child.

Yeah, Sesshoumaru and pretty much everyone else just call her "Rin". Kagome was the only one who called her "Rin-chan". To Rin, pretty much everyone except Kohaku was a "sama". The only notable difference with how Sesshoumaru addresses Rin, though, is that he refers to her as "omae" when calling her "you", when he uses "kisama" for almost everyone else. Neither is particularly polite, but "omae" is a degree less offensive than "kisama". He doesn't use "omae" with Rin exclusively, though, as he's used the term on Inuyasha on occasion, too.

Ok, I'll finally bite. How "offensive" do you mean? Degrading, maybe? Would Rin understand such a thing? If they were Really offensive, I would think that Kagome would have tried to "purify" him if he had said something like that to her! Haha!

Inuyasha uses "omae" with most people (well, actually he slangifies it to "omee") including Kagome. Kagome uses "anta", which is a feminized version of "anata", the general form of "you" (which I think is what Sango uses). I thiiink Miroku uses "kimi", but I could be mistaken. And Sesshoumaru's mother uses "sonata", which is one I've rarely seen used. It sounds kinda imperialistic and stuffy to me, though. Basically, calling someone "kisama" is degrading, as it's something you call people you look down upon as if you're in an extremely elevated position over them. "omae" is disrespectful, but something male friends can use amongst each other. Kind of along the lines of a group of African friends calling each other the n-word, but would take a lot of offense to someone outside their circle referring to them as such.

That was really informative. Thank you.
