Just a few steps to take to avoid the wrath of the angry Mod, and to not lose friends around here in general:
- If you have a news bit, please quote a source. Even if it's an unofficial source like a fansite, message board, or your neighbor's dog, I'd just like to know where you're coming from.
- If you post an image such as a piece of fanart that is not yours, please give proper credit to whoever made it, if you know. If you don't know, at least provide a link to where you got it.
- Be civil to other people. Don't swear, flame, or in other ways tick people off. They don't like it, the Mod doesn't like it, so just... mind your manners.
- Please don't post one-liners. "Yeah, I think so, too" doesn't add much to a conversation unless backed up with reasoning, so if you're going to say something, make it worthwhile.
- Please don't openly post images that might be considered offensive to some viewers (hentai, yaoi, yuri, shotacon, etc). I will not completely ban said content from this board, but if you do feel the need to post a questionable image, post a hyperlink to the image rather than diplaying the image outright.
- Linking to fansubbers, scanlators, and other such organizations is perfectly fine. However, linking to bootleggers is discouraged. Helping our non-profit fans is good. Helping our pirating money-makers is bad. :P
- Please don't make topics like "Raw Now Available" or "So-and-So's Fansub Now Available" or other such announcements of things that happen on a fairly regular basis. Instead, make a topic dedicated to the discussion of a specific episode, and keep all announcements pertaining to that episode in there, including its raw and fansub release.
-Other than that, have fun, ask questions, make friends, and have a jolly good time.#nosmileys#nosmileys
