I just starting watching Naruto and I love it! You just can't go wrong with a story about a bunch of ninja kids. It's too bad that the anime hasn't been licensed yet because it's a really good story! Full of humor and action, and some drama here and there. Anyway, anyone else out there like Naruto?

I really enjoy it, though I haven't watched it since episode 70-some. Kakashi-sensei... ::swoon:: You should check out the Naruto/Sifl & Olly AMV, "Ninja of the Night". It's very silly. =) www.glenmo.com/ninja.avi(Download it. Don't watch it streaming. =) ). -echo ("Dude! We're ninjas!")

OOOOOO!!!!! Kakashi-sensei...Yeah, I'm a fangirl. I like Iruka-sensei too, but he's not as cool as Kakashi . You should start watching again, episode 119 came out this week and things are definitly getting interesting. I have to say I'm a little surprised that the anime seems to be staying very close to the manga (at least from what i've read of the manga so far). It seems to me that alot of anime stray from there respective manga, even just for short arcs (for example Inuyasha and Hagaren). I wonder why that is.....? Is it to keep from catching up to the manga? As for the AMV, I tried to download it, but the site seems to be having issues...I want to see it though! Silliness is always good. Guess I'll have to try again some other time Oh yeah, as a side note...the music in Naruto kicks butt!

Well, I guess the Naruto anime has been liscenced by Sho-Pro/Viz. Which is big news for us Naruto fans. The funny thing is, is that there is tons of speculation on who the voice actors are going to be seeing as it's Viz, and the number one guess for Naruto's voice is Richard Cox...I don't know...he does a fine job as Inuyasha...but Naruto? There's also talk (and mind you this is ALL just speculation) that Monica Story will be Sakura. I for one wouldn't mind seeing Kirby Morrow as Kakashi or even Iruka. He's does a good job with Miroku, and seems to fit that kind of guy. From the way people are talking, sounds like the whole cast of Inuyasha (English dub) may soon be doing Naruto as well... I guess we'll just have to wait and see. It'll be interesting though.

Yeah, I can see Kirby Morrow as Iruka or Kakashi. Richard Cox actually seems more suited to Naruto than Inuyasha when I think about it (since Naruto is sort of an anachronistic bad-ass, while Inuyasha is a 500-years-in-the-past bad-ass). It might be weird to hear Naruto with such a deep voice, though...

I can see your point regarding Richard Cox as Naruto. I think I'm just so used to Junko Takeuchi, that it's hard to think of anyone else "being" Naruto. That seems to happen alot with me, I get so used to the voices in Japanese, that when I hear them in English it sounds funny. Although I actually prefer Kenshin in English

Although I actually prefer Kenshin in English :P Ah... funny thing about Kenshin. The fellow in the English dub makes a good rurouni. The woman in the original Japanese makes an awesome battousai (god, I love when she gets all pissed off... and her battlecries! Her battlecries!). Still, as much as I like the English-dub guy, Kenshin just isn't Kenshin without "Oro", that he's not. It's even a plot point in the Kyoto arc. =)

OMG! How could I forget about "oro"? At least Viz left it in in the manga. As for the battlecries...I don't know who can compare to the Japanese when it comes to voicing that stuff? I mean come on! It's just not going to be the same when Naruto's not screaming "Dattebayo" or "kagebunshin no jutsu!". And NO ONE compares to Kappei yelling "KONGOSOUHA!". So, I guess I'm saying I agree with you on the Kenshin battle cries being better in Japanese...I just like the Rurouni with a more masculine voice! LOL

i watched the first episode and I didn't really get into it. Maybe it's because of Naruto's English-dubbed voice. The other voices for the English-dub are *likeable* but yeah Naruto sounds like a girl. But anyways I watched the first episode on Tsunami and it didn't really catch my interest.

The Naruto dub really dissapointed me. I had hoped that it would have been better, but Nartuo's English voice, just grates on me. It's too bad, because the Japanese version is really good!

Yeah the english voice annoys me also, that's why I stopped watching. he's doing all these raw moves but has this annoying voice. Now the voice of Inuyasha doing these kinds of things gets me to want to watch naruto all the time!
