(Excuse my title, I'm low on inspiration)
Alright, ever since chapter 310 Tensaiga is now a sword of destruction and from what I understand, it cannot heal/bring something back to life, correct?
OK, so with that, do you think that Sesshoumaru will die and not be able to be saved by Tensaiga? Or possibly some random important character strolls into the plot, dies when we need them the most in some sort of battle, and Tensaiga is not able to heal them, screwing not just Sesshoumaru, but the Inu-tachi over as well? Although it would be a rare moment if some important character just appears out of nowhere...
Though, if Tensaiga can still heal, than this thread is rather pointless, huh?
Comments?

It does not actually appear that it does heal, however, knowing how Takahashi spontaneously gives Sesshoumaru advantages, I do not doubt that it STILL has the power to heal. I am not saying that I believe it does, I simply think there is a possiblity.

The way I see it, some weird shit is going to happen with our Sesshy...and now that he has Kohaku with him I really don't know what to expect. I just hope something neat comes out of this.

Looks like we're close to finding out the final secret about Tenseiga....lets just hope it's not something lame/boring.
I mean, I guess we'll get a neat inu-papa reference out of it at the very least, so how bad could it be? Assuming that the inu-papa backstory doesn't damage my image of him, or make him seem like a bad guy/poorly done character, I'll be happy.
And btw Patches, thanks for updating the manga translations. I'm not aware of any other up-to-date sources for this stuff, so it's really awesome that you're doing it.

With the latest chapters, I'm starting to question Inu no Taisho myself. I'm sure he had his reasons, but I really do think that Sesshoumaru got the bad end of the bargain. I know all parents play favorites, but this is a bit harsh. I'd be ticked off too.

Right now I think we're supposed to assume he got screwed...but then again, this guy (Inu no Taisho) beat down on Shishinki, so it's more than possible that he's aware of things that Shishinki isn't. Things that might explain why/how he didn't screw over Sesshoumaru by giving him Tenseiga. I guess we'll just have to see though.

I'm completely disappointed in recent chapters. *sighs* My theory is that RT is going to write Sesshoumaru out somehow by making him obsolete. For example- having Tetsusaiga's final upgrade be the Meidou Zangetsuha by absorbing Tenseiga or something of that nature. Then Sesshoumaru's part in the final battle will be null.
In all honesty, I'd rather her kill him off than make all of that character development go to waste. It's very sad.

I'm not sure what to make of this recent chapter with the Toutosai-Sesshoumaru scene. That is to say, I can't tell if Toutosai is serious when he claims that the only purpose of Sesshomaru wielding Tenseiga was so that a perfect meidou could be formed for Inu to then steal. It just seems far too petty to me, and it doesn't really make sense, because presumably Inu-Papa would want Sesshomaru to be powerful as well, so that he could kill off scum like Naraku.
So I guess the question is, if Sesshomaru loses the Tenseiga and his hatred for his brother, what does that leave him with? Walking around to various scenic cliffside views and letting the wind blow his hair around?
I suspect that either Toutosai was lying to Sesshomaru in order to provoke a certain response, or that if Sess does lose the Tenseiga that he'll discover some innate power in himself, or some other weapon (although, at this point in the series, there's obviously no time left to develop/power up a new weapon).

Welllllllllllllll, I' agree with Ant, much wisdom is found, but still, Sesshomaru is the oldest right? And though he is a demon, shouldn't there be some sort of gimick for his birth right? Even though, his heart was once cold, it's softened. Could there be a possibility that maybe the tensagia has a hidden power? Or was it inu-papa was trying to teach some lesson in this part?

I have to agree though that Sesshy did get a very bad end of the stick. Although, I wonder if it's true. But if it is, that's just messed up.

Well I think Inu papa gave a perfect gift to Lord his name means perfect destroyer of life.. but his dad even gave him ability to destroy dead too!
He's almost invincible
and even without the sword.. it isnt so easy to kill the strongest demon yet!
