So... its been quite a while since we've had one of these topics! And thus, I felt like we needed one this time. It was obviously stated in this week's chapter, that Kikyo was going to use Kohaku's shard. Granted, Kohaku is the most likely to kick the bucket in one of the upcomming chapters.
My voted went for yes, but he'll be revived. I mean, the guy's death has been horribly foreshadowed for at least... what, 300 chapters already? XD. Anyway, now don't get me wrong here. I don't want the guy do die, I just find it horribly obvious ^^"

I vote with you but - perhaps Kohaku's death is a bit TOO obvious. In terms of upcoming demises I rather think that Kikyou will be the one to go - probably not in the near future but ultimately. It is possible that she might find a way of sacrificing herself which could spare Kohaku's life?

Well, she did state that SHE was the one to defeat Naraku, and thus needed the whole Shikon no Tama. Besides, Kohaku seemed awfully resigned and willing to sacrifice himself in order to get rid of the big bad baboon.

True. But then, she is hardly alone in so stating. Granted, her affiliation with Midoriko gives her a certain edge, but Kikyou has a...doom about her.
Still, it is not much of a choice, either way. If Kohaku dies he will be at peace and Sango would have to consider it in that light. If Kikyou dies it would have to be Inuyasha who does the accepting. Also, if Kikyou IS the one to finally defeat Naraku by using the jewel, it seems likely that she will perish (again) in the attempt.

Hn, I voted "Yup, definitely yes". Because it's so painfully obvious that he is going to die. And really, I don't care much about little Kohaku, so I wouldn't mind if he died. Then again, we'd have to go through some chapters of Sango accepting this, and really, I don't really want to see Sango going all emotional and such...

To me, it is more like 50-50;of course, if Kikyou gets her way, Kohaku will die, but how do we know that Kikyou is going to kill Naraku? Because SHE believes so? No offense to Kikyou fans, but she has been known for talking a lot, then Naraku almost always embarrsses her in the end. So, just because Kikyou BELIEVES she will kill Naraku, does not mean that she WILL. Of course, her doing so is very possible, but I will not say that she is the most likely person to defeat Naraku.
No offense, but I highly doubt that Kikyou would ever be that unselfish. In my opinion, she is one of the most selfish characters in the series, and selfish characters do not give their lives for others...However, there is a chance that she may change.

A bit of an old topic, but those who have actually read the current manga, Sesshoumaru steps in and scares off Buyakuya. After which he apparently takes Kohaku with him, hmm, it seems the foreshadowed Kohaku's death, may not be as foreshadowed as it seems, but we'll have to see what happens, it's obvious Sesshoumaru has been tracking Kohaku now for some reason.

So Rin and Kohaku can get married?! Just kidding. ^^ Maybe Sesshou will use Tenseiga to revive him. =P Try to get some info on Naraku or something...
