Anyone else think the final battle against Naraku might take place in Kagome's time?

Quite possibly, but only because hunting the guy down has taken that long. ^_^ It'll be Kikyou and Sesshoumaru fighting along side Inu-tachi's descendents.

That would be awesome! At least that way we'd know if Sesshoumary survived the passage of time.

Actually, I've been thinking on that for a while. I would like it, it would be very romantic and blah blah blah, but let's be real. 1.- The most radical speculation, which I take as an irony is the less plausible one. I mean, technically no more than 4 or 5 months have transpired since Kagome fell into the well 423 chapters ago (let's count the new moons, anyone? Remember that many (or maybe even most) of the arcs happen in no more than a day, and Inu-tachi isn't moving across all Japan, but most likely a large (very large indeed) radius. Besides, we know for sure that it still hasn't been a whole year: Kagome's still fifteen, and this isn't The Simpsons. 2.- Why, for all that's sacred, would Naraku be even remotely interested in going to the present time? Last time I checked, he wasn't heading for world domination or anything. I mean, if my memory works correctly(however that's not a reliable point since it tends to fail), Naraku's objective is to finally become the most powerful Youkai of all time (and well, get rid of his human side, so you could actually say his goal is the same as Inuyasha's was at the start of the series). So... what sense would it make having the final battle in Kagome's time? Maybe if it was some sort of accident, Inuyasha throwing Naraku through the well or something to prevent destruction... however....... that wouldn't make much sense, since Naraku would defenitely cause MUCH MORE notable destruction in Kagome's time. HOWEVER, that would be a good reason for having the well destroyed and closing the whole story. Anyway, I still find it really far fetched and really REALLY not plausible. There I go I've been wanting to write this a for a while now sorry for the long post.

Why would Naraku travel to the present era? Simple, to further his goal through the miracle of RADIOACTIVE MUTATION!
.... Just kidding.

Anyone else think the final battle against Naraku might take place in Kagome's time? Hmmm? That is really hard to say but that would be uber cool if it did.

I'm also wondering what happens to the others? Obvously, Sango and Miroku will eventually buy the farm since they are human. But how about Inu, shippou, Sesshouamru...Kouga? will they still be alive or killed before Kagome is born? One often asks that.
