Alright...sorry to start two new threads in one night...but boredom has set in and so the randomness begins! Anyway, I love Hagane no Renkinjistushi! I say this about alot of anime/manga, but I really mean it this time! I never thought that anything could take the place of Inuyasha as my favorite, but this story has done it! Don't get me wrong...Inuyasha is still up there and a VERY close second...but FMA is just incredibly good! The storyline develops well, you're never really bored, and the whole dang thing just makes you think. I've also never cried so hard during a show like that...sure...you cry at the end of "Free Willy" and "Bambie"...but this you cry for so many different reasons. So, what does everyone else think of it, especially since it just started here in the US a few months ago?

Ummm, I DO agree that FMA is a pretty darn good show, but, for me, it is no where near close to taking the place of Inu-Yasha or DBZ! And, just being myself, I have never cried watching that show!......No show has ever made me cry. But, still, FMA is a very good anime!!

Eh...ever since I was pregnant with my daughter a few years back, I cry at everything! LOL! Having kids does that to you... Heheh. Probably all the oxytocin. ;) Of course, I've never been pregnant, and I weep all the time these days. It's really very weird; until a couple years ago, I was a stoic. Almost nothing could get to me. Now I cry at the drop of the hat. Stories, music, song lyrics, startlingly beautiful views, things that I should be a little bit numb to, by now, like Fruits Basket, which I've watched at least six times, and it *still* gets me every time... XD ::Shakes head:: But you know what? It's better to cry than to wonder what the big deal is, even if my husband freaks out a little (perfectly cliche -- "Wh-why are you crying...?!" "I'm ::sniff:: so happy!") Anyway. Bring on the greek theater! Or the anime, which is about as good. ;D

I loved that show when it came on AS. I ove the plot of the story also, it's genius! No loose strings, maybe cliffhangers, but not those annoying ones that the writer forgets to go back to...they all connect. Why their father was never around, why they burned down their home, why they didn't get their mother back after going through all thattrouble, the questions just pile up and they get answered. it was so sad and depressing but an awesome show. I got hooked!
