Looks like we're finally getting near the end of Inuyasha.
Takahashi's done some good work with the story lately -- the situation is worse than ever and the kiddies have to figure things out on their own -- but criminy, she took her time getting here.
I'm sad that "Holy crap... Finally!" is my strongest reaction. It started as such a powerful story, but the repeated, protracted story detours really took the shine off this gem for me. I skipped whole story arcs after my son was born, and picked it up again without missing anything -- there were still plenty of sidetracks to trudge through, in fact.
How about you all? Excited? Sad? Relieved...?

Yes, I'm glad it is finally ending.
I love the story but I agree, we could have done without a lot of the story detours.
I just hope the end is as good as the beginning.

Its like Harry Potter in a way.. the story is too interesting to end..but it has to end.. It has gone long enough
