"The Bond Between Two?" "Use the Shard of the Shikon?" Is this referring to Joukasareta Inuyasha + Nifty Kagome Waist Attachment = BIG HONKIN' Kongosouha from the semi-recent manga chapter? If so, we're going to see that scene MUCH earlier than previously thought . . .

Yep, I confirmed the titles on Sunrise's site. The site makes no mention that that's the end of the series, but I suppose one can assume as much. I've heard that Blackjack will start running in October, after the traditional three-week break at the end of September.

*grasping at straws* Patches - Do you know if Sunrise made an explicit announcement at the end of other series or did they just let them die with no mention of the death? It just seems that this is a somewhat big event in the Sunrise universe - shouldn't it be addressed directly?

The first post that had the word finale on it was from another fansite that translates titles not the actually Sunrise site.
Also I have a question. How often does the Sunrise site update their Inuyasha episode list? I heard from many sources saying it takes 7 days, 10 days or even a month for them to update their site?? I really want to know how long I will have to wait for this info.

However, they update their main site with news every couple of days. Although, I'm not expecting an announcement of "It's ending", but rather an announcement of "Here's what's replacing it".

I don't need to worry about IY till then.

Hey, if the anime truely ends, do you think its possible they'll alter "Using the Shard" to were Naraku is defeated and give it a end?

Hey, if the anime truely ends, do you think its possible they'll alter "Using the Shard" to were Naraku is defeated and give it a end? Actually, I do think they could. But I guess the thing is that that will be the only resolution that it'll possibly be able to give. The rest of the conflicts (if they get touched at all) will probably be slapped together and changed around. 1. The Kikyou/Inuyasha/Kagome triangle. I wonder if they'll give that its resolution when they animate chapter 337 (Fuyouheki). That chapter actually does have a little bit of a potential to at least give it a little closure. (What Kagome says is in regards to Inu and Kikyou, who are talking at a distance. She seemed to kinda reach a little peace of mind about them.) KAGOME: It's not something I can help. I'm always with Inuyasha, but Kikyou is.... That scene ended with Kikyou taking her leave of the group, but perhaps the anime could give it a little more closure. Dunno HOW (and guarateed it won't be very "satisfying" for most fans), but that's one possibility. 2. Chapter 355 had them confronting Naraku, so they could probably make that "last-battle-ish." This is a really wild thought, but I can see it happening. Chapter 355 is altered so that when Kagome rushes in to purify Inuyasha, she kisses him. It's like movie 2 all over again. Here's what else might change: Inuyasha, in his kickass Joukasareta Glory, blasts his way out of the ogre, and instead of Naraku running away, he's still there. They fight. Naraku et. all goes BOOM! Without Naraku, they just take the jewel don't need to worry about getting the shards back from Kohaku or Kouga. I'm pretty sure chapter 356 will also be animated to close that episode, and I wonder if the anime will juice up the fluff in that chapter to give the Kag/Inu relationship some kind of climax/closure. Like... with a kiss. Or something. I'm giddy as hell it seems that my favorite chapter EVER is, in fact, going to make it to the anime... but I'm kind of bummed that it seems like that's going to be the ending. Other than the movie this winter. But that doesn't count. XD That means that Hakudoushi's betrayal is a no-go. Mouryoumaru is a no-go. Goryoumaru is a no-go -- and ctually, that's starting to make a little sense now. I was expecting a character as important as him or Mouryoumaru to be in the introduction. Neither one of them was there, but things like the Mayose tree, the scene from 337, and youkai Inu, made it to the intro. And whatever came after 355 is a no-go. LIPS IS A NO-GO! *CRIES* *BAWLS* *LATCHES ON TO SOMEONE* Although I'm wondering how they'll write chapters like 350/351 without Gouryoumaru's involvement. I mean, that's how Kagura got blasted through. Feh. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the ride from here on out and just enjoy the manga. XD

Whew...at least I am not the only one who thinks they might kiss...XD
As for Nari-poo I doubt they are going to defeat him, and instead are going opt for more fluff.

Though I suppose Inuyasha and Kagome kissing wouldn't be too bad . . . but what about closure with Miroku and Sango? And where's poor Kohaku in all of this? And Kikyou, for crying out loud?! She can't be dead *forever*! Well, actually, yes she can, but as for *living* dead, that's kind of a different matter . . . ;D

Here's what else might change: Inuyasha, in his kickass Joukasareta Glory, blasts his way out of the ogre, and instead of Naraku running away, he's still there. They fight. Naraku et. all goes BOOM! But they still need to deal with the whole "Naraku's Heart" deal. Which is why I think they'll keep that little Kanna/Kikyo confrontation in the anime, just change it around. In addition to obviously making it occur earlier, they just take Mory's involvement out and have Kikyo kill Kanna and the baby. Thus making, Naraku and 'doushi are fully killable. Assuming Kagura stays unkilled, she'll have gained her freedom and will probably go to Sesshy and say "Yo, I have no where else to go....so can stay with you?, or something like that.
