Tenka Hadou no Ken Rental

According to the ads and flyers coming out in Japan (such as THIS ONE,) the rental (not retail yet) for Tenka Hadou no Ken will be released on June 11, 2004.

I'll see if there's any other ads and info around, but that's the first indication of a release date.

The Juso No Kamen game came with a little "Inu vs. Sesshoumaru " ad in it, and on the bottom (in teeeeny tiny print) is written "6/11/2004 - DVD/video rental"

So we can definitely say that the ads are official now. ^_^

I read on a fansite that the Tenka Hadou no Ken retail date is August 27th. I'll make a post on the main site once I can confirm the date on some official or retailer's site.

I'm starting to find a few listings. I didn't really read the pages thoroghly to find any caveats about the release, but these give the date 8/27 as the retail release:

I'm looking for Tover Video Japan and Amazon Japan to list theirs, but I already put the date up on my site. Amazon sometimes doesn't list their release dates until late.

Hm, the J-Books link is the only one that makes any mention of the drama CD (which I figured it would have). I wish there was more specific information about that CD, though, since it's often the hilight of the release. ^_^* I hope there's more "korosu zo"-ing (well, there'll be at least one, since the Anime Scramble drama will inevitably be on it, and he gave his line in that :P).

Ohh, I can't wait to see this movie. Saying I've been highly anticipating it's release would be an understatement.

Since I'm really not in "the know" about those drama CDs, are they something that has only been released with each of the movies? (My apologies if this is something that has already been asked and answered a thousand times).

It's probably safe to assume the US releases won't have those, so are you Japanese speakers [Patches ] going to order your copies from Japan so you have the extra drama CDs?

Yeah, the drama CDs only come with the DVDs of the movies. The first movie's drama CD was just the Anime Scramble radio show. The second movie's had an original drama (the "Sesshoumaru-takes-over-the-show" one XD), an interview with each member of the main cast, then the Anime Scramble radio show. I don't know what will be on the third one, but I'm guessing the Anime Scramble radio show will be a part of it. I sure as heck hope they have more of Yuuichi, Kappei, and Ken going insane, though. ^_^*

Dude, if the DVD comes with some sort of Tenka Hadou no Plushie extra, I will die.
