Those actually don't look half bad. Believe me, I've seen MUCH worse.

Although my personal favorite are the chimakore figurines. Nothing like a superdeformed Jakotsu and Bankotsu AND Sesshoumaru figure in the collection! XD

2-9-04 TOYNAMI ANNOUNCES TWO NEW LICENSES AT TOY FAIR 2004


Toynami is pleased to announce the acquisition of two new action-figure licenses: the smash hit series Inuyasha and the anime and manga sensation Chobits! Toynami will manufacture articulated action figures based on characters from both extremely popular series.

"Both Inuyasha and Chobits are among the hottest animated properties in today’s media, and they’re a perfect fit for us," said Toynami’s president George Sohn. Inuyasha can be seen daily on Cartoon Network’s top-rated "Adult Swim" programming block, while Chobits DVDs and comic books are available at video stores and bookstores nationwide.

Prototypes for Toynami’s Inuyasha line will be shown at Toynami’s showroom at the American International Toy Fair in New York this week. Also on display will be products from Toynami’s much-anticipated Voltron: Defender of the Universe toyline, including the transformable VOLTRON LION MASTERPIECE. And don’t forget Robotech, because Toynami certainly hasn’t! On display will be the first two volumes in the eagerly awaited ROBOTECH MASTERPIECE COLLECTION: ALPHA FIGHTER series! From yesterday’s classics to today’s favorites, Toynami’s got it all!

Inu and Kagome come out in June and will be $13.00. The second series will be Sesshomaru, and Kikyo, don't know when they'll be out though.

A flower? How does that work? Where's his staff? Is he picking flowers? Did little Rin give it to him? Is it a magical youkai flower Sesshoumaru threw to Jaken to hold for him?

Sesshoumaru and Kikyou are next? They're on my list. I'll end up with the whole cast soon. Can't wait for Miroku and Sango!

Ah, it's nice to see the different angles. It's cool that they include some lose arrows and the untransformed Tessaiga and scabbard. =)

Are the figures posable, or ar they just cool to look at?
They look better that any character remake ive seen in a while, unless you call gundams characters and some of the new ones dont match up to Inuyasha and his giants sword of awesomeness!

I will have to definetly look into these...

Yeah, they are soo cute I wish I could buy them (mom won't let me). One of them I don't understand, the one where inu-yasha is in his demon form. I thought that when he is in his demon form, the sword has been abandoned. Why was inu-yasha holding the sword in his demon form?
