It IS the first original name he's ever had to think up, after all. Maybe it just stuck with him. |

I laughed so hard I got all lightheaded when that part came up. And I'm not someone who does that on a whim. Though, I usually do the opposite with the name thing, I take my character's name and make it my handle for everything, because I'm too lazy to think of other things to remember.  But maybe what with everything going on surrounding Inuyasha's birth, he didn't really have time to think of a proper name, but didn't want to leave him nameless, so picked a name from his past and then got all sentimental for a moment. |

Just an update, chapter 79 will finish up the "in the city" arc, however I have more than a chapter's worth of material to cover in it and no decent stopping point in the middle to break it up, therefore 79 is going to be at least a double-length chapter to finish out the storyline. So, while there has been a delay, yes, you'll get more out of it in the end. Hopefully either Tuesday or Wednesday. |

Well, chapter 79 may be a bit late, but it is indeed double-length to finish off this arc before delving back into plot next time around. But be warned, this is probably the most epically crack-tastic chapter yet. I'll probably also be adding more illustrations to it later, but for now, the one it does have should be *cough* quite sufficient. |

Oh. My. God. The foresight, it kills me! The Inuyasha vase. You give me too much credit for that one, I only realized I'd made horrible pun after I'd written it. The thought process was like: "Hm, still needs to be an Inuyasha in this play. Guess he could just be a prop. Something wrapped in a blanket. Like a vase or something. So, then, what, he'd be Tsuboyasha? Inutsubo... wait a minute... oh my god I just inadvertently made a horrible joke. .... I'm totally running with it.  " |

Hey hope everyone had a happy holiday break! I know I was being a lazy-ass the whole time.
So, as implied at the end of the latest chapter, there's going to be another clothing change. The problem is... I have no idea to what. ^_^* I suck at coming up with outfits, and am kind of shooting myself in the foot with all of these costume changes.
I think the next outfit should be similar to the final costume, but not actually the final costume (there's no reason to be wearing armor at this point). So, that kind of narrows down a general color scheme, but the clothes themselves probably shouldn't be quite the same as what he wears under the armor.
So, I thought I'd throw out a question if there's anything that anyone really wants to see him wear? Were there aspects of previous outfits that you liked that you want to see retained before he eventually moves on to his final outfit? Is there something he hasn't worn yet that you think he'd look good in? I have no fashion sense, so I usually just end up drawing random crap on him and picking whatever looks cute.

Hmmm, only thing I can think of that I'd like to see again is maybe a sleeveless haori. (I miss the bells, but nothing to be done about that) That was so cute on the original clothing set, and it reminds me of the days of Yachouon. That reminds me... it's been 4 years since he left the village.. so, between 4-5 years since the last talk with Eika. Is she still coming back in 5 years?

Gaaah, I apologize for the dearth of updates for so long, but I have been majorly distracted by a number of other projects. Since I apparently have a thing for guys in tight black leather and am fond of blue, I've been thoroughly seduced away by a certain supervillain demanding I fangirl over him for a while.
But don't worry, it won't keep me away forever, and I'll be back with a new chapter or... some kind of update, at least at... some point. Hopefully within a week or two.

Yes, chapter 80 is up! With new clothes that I hope everyone likes (I suck at costume design. Thankfully this should be the last costume change before the "canon" outfit).
