It's a loooong way from being over, though. I've got this next arc to get through that's for shedding more light on what's up with my mother and kind of bigger things that are going on, then an arc after that where Akagane comes back, which'll eventually lead into me gaining my status, then some stories about dealing with that newfound responsibility, meeting Sessmom, having Sesshoumaru, meeting Izayoi, having Inuyasha, me dying... there's a long way to go. Maybe you should just do a J.K. Rowling, and write a septet.  |

Are you sure about chap. 44? Tried to call it up, and it doesn't seem to be there. So glad you are back!

Is it just not an option in the drop-down menu, or is it not able to find the page? If it's the former, sometimes you need to refresh the page for the drop-down menu to update. Are your browser settings affecting it? I typically enter the story by clicking on the homepage, selecting the memoirs link, and then going into the drop-down menu, and it works fine for me. I use Firefox.

I use Firefox. No, I normally go direct to the memoirs page and drop-down. Until now it has worked just fine. I've tried the route you suggested, but it still doesn't come up. Arrrrg!  I have no idea what program I use (very un-computer savy). |

I have no idea what program I use (very un-computer savy). Well, when you open your browser, it should say in the blue bar at the very top of the window what browser it is. I would suggest you empty your cache. To do this in Firefox, click on Tools at the top of the window, then pick Options from the drop down. Pick the Privacy tab in the window that comes up, then hit the button near the bottom (under the Private Data section) that says "Clear Now." That should solve your problem. In Internet Explorer, click Tools at the top of the window and select "Internet Options" from the drop-down. If it's not already selected, click the "General" tab on the pop-up. Under the "Temporary Internet Files" section, click "Delete Cookies." These steps should clear any phantom pages stuck into your browser (In other words, your browser is showing the old page even though it's been updated). Just a note, if you have passwords saved into webpages so that you don't have to enter your information every time you log on, this'll reset that so you'll have to enter them next time you want to log on to something. Well, when I called up this site like I usually do, and checked the drop-down for the new chapter, guess what? Yep, Chapter 44 came up just fine! Shesh! Yeah, my guess is that it's just a cache issue. Basically, most web browsers save copies of files to your hard drive so it doesn't have to load them across the internet every time you go to the page. So if you go to my site, your browser probably says, "memoirs.html? I've already got that over here, I'll just show that so that it loads faster." But if the page has been updated in the meantime, it won't show the changes because your browser is still loading the version it had saved from your previous visit. Refreshing the page should force it to reload the site from the internet instead, ensuring you have the most updated version. |

I love Yachouon. ^_^ I also read the chapter a few days ago, but was too lazy to comment. To be honest, I don't have much to comment about, really. It was a standard, good quality chapter, but it was pretty short and not much happened. So, I'm happy, but there's nothing confusing or amazingly spiffy to bring up.
