The manga is back!!!! *possible spoilers*

Finally! After a year of swords powerups, supporting characters being anything but supportive, I finally get the feeling that the manga that I love is finally back!
Even though I don't really like Kouga, this last chapter was AWESOME! I mean, it has a plot, its going somewhere else other than swords getting new attacks...
Am I happy that one of the characters that I mostly hate in this series is back? YES!! Because now we're gonna GET SOMEWHERE and Tessaiga may finally be no more!!!!


Now to the chapter itself

Well, it did sound like Ayame's story minus Ayame, as Patches said. I liked the chapter, besides Shinta is so cute . Perhaps we're finally gonna se the wimpy wolf's shards taken by... Naraku? -yeah, remember that Inuyasha smelled Naraku in the cave, and the kids were talking about a youkai named Naraku (then again I could be misreading this last one), so I'm 99% positive that this is gonna go somewhere with Naraku, Mouryoumrau, Byakuya and hopefully Kanna-

I couldn't agree more. Kouga was never a favourite of mine, either, but recently I've found myself actually MISSING him because - hey, we was still out there somewhere actually LOOKING for Naraku. All the same, I wouldn't be sorry to see Kai use that razor-edged-frisbee-weapon to full advantage...

And Byakuya - remember Byakuya? He had such a promising start (for a villain) and then he simply vanished!

Byakuya, aka Kagura lite.

Yeah, its just like if Naraku decided "Nah, this one's not gonna work" and swallowed him back XD "No more bunshin for a while". I mean, let's count.
One never really cared about him and was tired from being under his control from the very beginning. Another seemed like he cared but decided to betray him in the end. The other one never really cared about him, about the others, about falling off cliffs... and not to mention the countless bunshins that died in the hand of Inuyasha-tachi XD
well, not COUNTLESS, but you know what I mean.
Maybe Naraku started thinking twice before starting making more bunshins? XD

Well, it looks like Naraku hasn't quite finished with Byakuya - I suppose that flying eyeball is just too useful to let go. The latest sub-creation doesn't look as though it's going to last, however. Yet another Generic Monster for Kouga to thrash senseless.

Well, the arc is defenitely going somewhere. Looks like Midoriko decided to push the "on" switch on the shards, and I get the feeling Mouryoumaru's gonna bite the big one this time... Maybe Kanna'll be randomly near and get the baby before Inu-tachi can get to him? Well, we know Kouga isn't gonna loose his shards just yet, but since Mouryoumaru might be paying a visit to Housenki in the near future, this arc might lead us to something neat... and even if he doesn't die in the end, its alright! Kai and Shinta are so god dammed cute that all I just hope is that they join Kouga's group in the end, and that'll make a perfect arc for me

Or... maybe Kagome's been missing asking people to join her group, so she'll ask the boys, maybe this time she'll finally get a positive answer XD

Heh. Like tv sitcoms that run too long and try to boost ratings by introducing a young child to the regular cast.

It could work. That little tyke really couldn't get any cuter. ;)

Yeah, Shinta and Kai are awfully cute, but I hope that if they go with someone, they go with Kouga... I can't really picture them with the Inu-tachi xD

Okay, so Midoriko just pushed the switch to "off" again, so maybe, and that's only MAYBE, Kouga will get to use his "Get out of Midoriko's Will free" card, just to see his shards get taken by Moury.
This is defenitely the most exciting arc we've had in the manga in the past year!!! But what happened to Kai and Shinta now? They just swtiched to off and stopped existing? Or maybe Takahashi forgot to draw them at all?

Heh, yeah. Nothing like a little impalement, impending death, and a cliffhanger to spice up a story arc.

Eh, you musta just missed them. They were in one of the reaction shot panels. I remember, because I was totally distracted by how damned cute that little guy is. How does she acheive such cuteness with so few lines?

Man, I can't wait to see what happens next! I haven't felt like this since... since Kagura died last year!!! or maybe when Kikyo took Kohaku to fulfill Midoriko's Will.
Anyway, what do you guys think? Is Kouga gonna use his chance to get free of Midoriko's will? My bets are on that he is and right after that he's gonna get his shards taken by Moury or Byakuya or some other random guy

And the most FREAKISH thing just happened. I just don't see Kouga hanging out with the gang. Aside from the fact that I HATE HIM, I think something really REALLY bad is gonna happen to him soon...

No, I can't see Kouga casting his lot in with Inuyasha. Still, the idea that everybody might finally work together to defeat Naraku is...hopeful, even if it still seems unlikely. Early in the series I used to think that this would be the culmination - rivals forced to form an alliance, however temporary. Now I'm not so sure...

Well, Kouga's joining didn't last so long after all XD Anyway, the best thing of this chapter was defenitely... NARAKU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yay! After one of his longest absences (maybe it wasn't, and it just felt like it was XD) the big bad baboon is back! So we're defenitely going somewhere now, I mean, Naraku showing up is always a good sign........................ isn't it?

Anyway, he did show up in this week's chapter, and now that I check no, Kuro hasn't uploaded this week's chapter yet (though its still wednesday, that means the chapter was published only yesterday XD)
