O.k., so I've been thinking a lot lately about how Naraku is going to go down. I guess more like who is going to take Naraku out (if he dies at all) and I think it should be Kuhaku. It seems like he's been through more than anyone at the hands of Naraku and after Episode 163 in the anime and the recent chapters in the manga it just seems fair. I'm curious as to what everyone else thinks. Do you think Naraku's going down? and who do you think is going to do it?

Yeah, Naraku's toast. But I'm thinking that he is so powerful now, it's going to take everybody teaming up on him to take him down. And it would be poetic because Naraku is what has brought everyone together (even Sesshoumaru for the most part). They all share the fact that Naraku has greatly hurt them.

I think you're right about everyone having to take down Naraku together, but I'd still like to see Kuhaku really kick his butt!

Something keeps telling me that Kikyo+Kagome'll have to team up... and I'm still quite sure that Kikyo's gonna be the key in defeating him. What about Mouryoumaru? He still has the baby (the heart) inside.

Right, one of the aspects of killing Naraku would be killing the baby, otherwise, Naraku himself would just keep reforming no matter what you did.
I think you may have a point about Kikyou. (Don't know if this is in the manga) but in the anime, she gave him the near completed jewel so that she could destroy him once he had it all. So there seems to be an aspect of the jewel that has yet to be revealed.
And I don't know about Kikyou and Kagome teaming up, but on things for sure, Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru will sure need to team up.

Personally, I think everyone is going to team up... it seems more Rumiko-like. Nari-poo probably will aborb Mouymaru. Hopefully Kouga doesn't show up just to lose his shards.

maybe the shikon no tama will be completed, and inuyahsa will get hold of it, then, just as naraku tries to take it, inuyahsa does the yasha laugh and uses the jewel to transform....into a human. That would destroy the jewel so that Naraku couldn't have it, majorly pissing off Naraku, who would probably proceed to kill the human inuyahsa....
Then the others kill Naraku, Sess revives inu with Tenseiga, and they all live happily ever after....

Well, there's something I didn't mention in my last post:
I think the Shikon no Tama WILL be completed, of course, but not by Inu-tachi nor Fluffy-tachi... why did I say about Kikyo and Kagome teaming up to defeat Naraku? Because they'll probably have to purify the entire Shikon no Tama... think about it: when just one shard turns black, Kagome has a hard time purifying it (Not that Kikyo'll have a hard time too, purifying just one shard, but Kagome's been reaching up to Kikyo's levels lately). Imagine how hard it would be to purify the whole freakin' jewel.
And there's also the thing about Midoriko... remember when Myouga saw Inuyasha as Midoriko when they were at Midoriko's cave? Well, probably he'll have some role in the purifying thing too...

I may be wrong, but I thinking if the jewel were purified in Naraku's possession, then it would strip Naraku of the power he had aquired from the jewel. That would then leave him to be pretty easy pickings for Inu Yasha and co.
If Kagome is involved to the point of joining with Kikyou to purify the jewel then that would be cool. I just hope she's not too involved in Naraku's destruction much beyond that though. I mean she is the only one who Naraku hasn't done anything to directly like he has to the others who deserve justice.

Probably the pleasure'll be given to Inuyasha+Kikyo... maybe after all that Kikyo can finally rest and stop bugging us all xDDD

You know I was thinking..What if both Kikyou and Kagome were both reincarnations of Midoriko? Then that would bring the whole history of the Shikon full circle. The only problem is that isn't Midoriko supposidly still in the jewel fighting the demons? I don't. It would tie up some loose ends so well, I just can't help but wonder.

I don't think Kagome/Kikyou could be Midoriko, seeing as her soul's traped inside the jewel, she can't be reincarnated.
Though I AM wondering what's going to happen to Kohaku... I originally thought that they're going to use the completed jewel to save Kohaku, but after seeing Kagura die, I'm just not sure anymore...

P something I said to a friend as a joke, but kinda makes sense to me... Well, Myouga did see Inuyasha as Midoriko back in that episode, so... What if Izayoi was Midoriko's descendant? I know its really far-fetched, but it makes sense, at least for that episode...
