Or are we alowed to change the text under our name that says "new member"?

I don't believe there's a straighforward way to change that. As the admin, I can make it say that you have ten zillion posts or something, which might change your "rank", but I don't think there's a way to change your "title" outright.

Ooh, ooh, I just found out where I can change the rank names and number of posts needed to get them! Hm, maybe I should change them to something silly. Granted, if I change the ranking names, this applies globally, not just to one person. Hm... suggestions? At the moment, the ranks are:
New Member (0 posts)
Junior Member (50 posts)
Full Member (100 posts)
Senior Member (250 posts)
God (500 posts)
I can add more rank divisions than this if I want, plus change the post requirements, since these are just the defaults. Anyone have any good ideas what they should be changed to?

I don't know we could be ranked by something cute But i am not familiar enough with cuteness to give it justice. What about you what are your levels of craziness or is it fanness.

You could do a system off of Inuyasha...
Human Characters (feudal ranking systems or just make soemthing up along those lines), or maybe youkai (lesser youkai, greater youkai, Oni, etc...)
I dunno, just trying to help! You dont have to change the rankings if you dont want to. Its your site, and youve already done enough...

Grrr......But theres no other way to really put it without deleting text and retyping it, and its way to late for more thinking...

Maybe you could make a system off Inuyasha like COSniper said...
Maybe you could just use characters? There are a LOT of characters in IY ^^;; If you decide to use characters, I get dibs on Sango L0L ^^;; Yea, she's my favorite.

Well, you can't really get "dibs" on anything in a ranking system, since the title you get is based on your number of posts. It's more of a "progression" sort of thing.
Oh, dude, I could use the progression of Inuyasha's attacks!

Isn't Kongousouha -his newest attack- stronger than the Bakuryuuha?? That's what I always figured since his attacks are supposed to get stronger as the series moves along. ^^;; Hey, what's that new attack ure talking about in the third movie?? o.O;; Can you tell me about that, cuz I've never heard of it b4.. ^^;;

I actually don't know a whole lot about what it actually is, other than it's Sou'unga's attack. When Inuyasha gets possessed by the sword in the beginning of the movie, he levels a whole village with the it. It's like the "wipe out everything" attack. |

I think the thing that might make Kongousouha stronger is that it can be used against anyone. It's basically Kaze no Kizu kicked up a notch. Kaze no Kizu is something Inu has control over, and he can use it against anyone. (Quick! Someone draw Inuyasha throwing stuff on his sword, screaming "BAM!!!") Bakuryuuha needs the enemy to have youki to work. So... that kinda makes it limited...? I guess. Toutousai calls it the ultimate attack, but then again, he probably wasn't expecting stuff like Kongousouha. KONGOUSOUHA!!!! ...did I mention that I LOVE Kongousouha? After Hakudoushi shows up, I'm going into "Countdown to Kongousouha" mode. |

Wait, hold on, and back up! Inuyasha is possed by a sword and levels a village! Where is this!?
When is the third Movie coming out? Or if it is out where is it subbed and where can I get it!

Ok im done being freaky. On a serious note and on topic do the rankings by attacks. Thats a good idea! Characters as I mentioned before can cause problems. My favorite character may be Inuyasha (which it is) and sangos may be sango (judging by the name) causing problems if Inuyasha is higher than sango. Vise versa or I dunno it just may not be the best idea.
Next serious question. What are the post counts going to be? I bet as the forum gets older people will have real high counts and we'll all be "gods" which will get old fast...
