Uh, can I ask you Ringo, what does the words at the bottom of your post say & under your picture? what about curse words, not to get kicked off the site maybe not I don't want no trouble. I don't know what else to say, I guess what ever is important in translation/chats?! Do any of you know where I could like buy a Japanese translation book? There are just so many words I don't know??!! The words on the bottom of my post thingy came from Dearest. It's hard to translate the exact words, but it talks about love. There's not that many curse words in Japanese and I think baka and kisama is the worst words there is. You could get English - Japanese dictionaries in book stores. I'm pretty sure wherever they sell foreign dictionaries, they sell them too. I'm sorry if this post came a little choppy.

You know there only squares & @ signs on your post right! ;D i think the onlyway to get it in a post is to scan it/ save it/ or copy & paste it it's soo confusing to get a picture or something on the internet(well for me). You all probably don't have that problem.

Some computers don't have the Japanese language setter thingy. But maybe if you could go to websites that I dunno, teach how to read hiragana/katakana maybe you could see the letters. Hiragana is curved and squiggly looking while katakana is more angular and mostly made of straight lines.
Japanese people will pronounce the name as 'Seliin'. They don't use the long vowel and sadly they can't pronounce the 'r' sound. That's why even though Kirara has an 'r' they will say it with an 'l'.

Oh, there's rude/vulgar language in Japanese, alright, Baka is actually (surprisingly to a lot of people) not exactly vulgar. It's just kinda childish. Kisama is indeed considered pretty not-nice, and don't call anyone that unless you're expecting a fight. You wanna call someone "stupid," be unorthodox and call them "dou-aho!" (uber idiot!!) ama = bitch kuso = shit kusokurae - ah, eat shit temeera = is actually the plural of the profane "temee" = you all (rude) kisamara = the plural of "kisama" = you all (very rude) And if you want to have a lot of fun, learn how to conjugate using the profane "-yagare" veb ending.

My mom said that kisama could also be very polite. But still, I agree with Kuro don't use that to anyone. I really want to speak Kansaiben. The Japanese used in Osaka. They sound really cool. But instead I speak the Tokyo style Japanese. Depending on where you are in Japan they have different ways of saying stuff. Kind of like the biscuit/cookie, headmaster/principal, wireless/radio etc.

It's not harder to understand them when they use so many different languages Well, since I'm a beginner I guess it would be harder for me

You'll still be able to communicate with them but it would be a little different. Don't worry too much about it!

My mom said that kisama could also be very polite. But still, I agree with Kuro don't use that to anyone. "Ki-sama" (‹M—l) literally means "honorable precious thing" but evolved into a vulgarity. Probably like how our own words evolved into vulgarities when their origins aren't all that vugar at all.

Most remarkably about what kuro said, the f word, which derivated from an acronym I've also heard what Kuro said, so I'll believe it completely now that you confirmed it
