...who likes the fillers? Heh, I dunno, whenever I go around on message boards or whatever, I see people whining about the "OOC-ness" of fillers all the time. Heh, but maybe that's just me being a little judgemental of those people. But I sometimes think that fillers are fun and, yeah, a bit off... but I like them. Sometimes I seem in the minority. Anyway, I know I said in another topic that I kinda didn't like this week's filler, and I'm probably not going to watch the next few weeks' fillers more than once or twice, but that's because I'm just not fond of Hojyou and could care less about his Potato Chip ancestor. Favorite filler would definitely have to be episodes 127 and 128, though.

It depends on the filler...
There are some I cant stand, like the Monkey God Sama episode. The writer of that one should be shot.
While episode 128 is freaking hilarious. Inuyasha against Hojou. Falls out of chair thinking about it That is one of my favorite episodes! All of the fillers with Inuyasha going to the present with Kagome are hilarious!
Not all of the fillers suck. its just when there all lined up in a row and you want some actual plot to take place. Thats when they get annoying.

Eek! *throws herself in front of Takahashi* Don't shoot the manga creator! Seriously, that one actually was from the manga. It's one of my favorite episodes, too. Personally, I love the fillers. Well, most of them. There are a few annoying ones here and there. I wasn't crazy about 59, 91-93, 130 and 136; but that's about it. I go for cheesy humor. And I rather like Houjou-kun. (The same way Patches likes Jaken, I guess.) I'm glad the anime people kept him around after he disappeared from the manga. I'm not too thrilled with his klutzy ancestor, Akitoki, but I am intrigued about where these four episodes will take them.

*LOL* ACK! I was gonna SAY! The Sarugami-sama episode was canon. They did add some of their own moments in order to lengthen the story, though. But what they did add, I liked. Like Inuyasha's "SANKON-GAN-SOU!!" SOUL-CRUSHING ROCK CLAW!! RAWR! XD The other fillers that I'm particularly fond of is the infamous "nekkid Inu" episode (82 - which was part filler, part canon), and the Jaken Stealing Tessaiga filler. Heh-heh-heh. I mean, where else do we get the boys in the bath and the gang playing jan-ken-pon??

But you mentioned that it was part-filler and part-cannon: I know the scene with Inuyasha sleeping on Kagome's bed is from the manga, but is the naked scene purely anime or what it also from the manga?

I like the filers to a degree I hated the shippo one with the foxes-cat stair step idiots! But I loved the hojo vs Inu one with the play!! and I an really waiting on this next arc to see where it goes.
On the whole I think the fillers are more of a fan service based thing. But i am a fan and I like My cuteness! I see the m,ost complaint of the fillers from the boy fans that arn't into the whole cute thing as much. Anyway that is my 2 cents!

I tend to like fillers as long as they're done well. Some are good, some suck. It all depends on the filler. Filler episodes I liked: - 65, Shippou vs. Souten. It was a battle over a box of crayons. You can't hate a cute battle over a box of crayons! - 79, Jaken's claim to fame. Because you just can't have enough Jaken. - 128, the attack of the non-perishables. Hannabaruto Pekopon! - 134, the second half of the fall special. I dunno, the second half was better-animated and had all the cool fight scenes, not to mention it was the most in-character Fluffy filler to date. - 135, the one Miroku filler that had nothing to do with women. Plus it was just insane. Filler episodes I didn't like: - The entirety of the Hyounekozoku arc. The most out-of-character waste of three episodes I've ever seen. Why does Inuyasha let Kagome get kidnapped RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM? And how can Miroku mistake a big, fat, lightning-shooting cat man for Inuyasha? And why the heck did Sesshoumaru give up and leave the finishing blow to Inuyasha when he could have easily won himself, not to mention he had been ranting about how this was his fight for the past two episodes? - 99, the confrontation between Kouga and Sesshoumaru that never was. What was the point of this episode, again? - 129, the Saiyuuki-wannabe. Chokyuukai should just go get stepped on by Entei. ... Oh, wait. Granted, I also skipped most of the filler in seasons 2 and 3, so I don't really have an opinion on a lot of them ^_^*.

Like I said, some fillers are great!
But that Monkey God Sama one... How Honeybee... How?
O well, we all got different tastes...
The best filler episode or episodes (two parter) was 127 and 128!
Hojou vs Inuyasha! Perfect Matchup!
To bad the freaking Demon showed up, I wish Hojou was on the recieving end of Inus Kaze No Kizu... Hed leave Kagome alone then...hehe ...mysterious laugh...
Ok, to brighter topics! Episode 135, what was up with it? it was so random I lost track of the plot (if there was one) first thing I know Mirokus tutor/monk/father person is supposivly dying. Then theres Miroku using Kazana to clwan the temple thing! Soon after theres Sango hitting on Inuyasha, and the neverending Sit commands...
I hope it wasnt just me that was completely confused by this one...!

Like I said, some fillers are great! But that Monkey God Sama one... How Honeybee... How?
Seriously! The monkeys were in chapter 232 and 233 in volume 24 of the manga. The episode had a few filler moments in it like everyone's imaginings of what it would be like if the rock was left on permanently, but it was a pretty straightforward adaptation.

Ack... and how can I forget the Killer Plushie Episode?!
Hehe, now I know it might not be a favorite among some fans, but the Giant Plushie Inu and Kagome were HILARIOUS! I can go back and watch that episode and it gets me every time! XD

Wasnt the giant plushie episode when they fought those witch human people? The group tried to explain that they woere good but the witch/youkai hunters/ignorant people wouldnt listen to them. So they create giant Inuyasha and Kagome Plushies that can use Kaze No Kizu and shoot arrows?
That was a funny epside...
Thanks for bringint that one up Kuro! Time to go watch it... ...runs off to go find epsode list...

Episode 78 was a filler, "Aiming for Sango, Only You" ^__^ And that's like one of my FAVORITE episodes ^^;; That's the one with that ugly king dude proposing to Sango with a bunch of Sango/Miroku moments ;D On the other hand... The fillers that I HATE are all Shippou-based ones. They are mostly all the same, Shippou and some random girl, and are kinda stupid. (I kinda dislike Shippou, he's too annoying and doesn't do anything except whine and annoy people...) Also... There was episode 93, now that was funny ^^;; And episode 97 and 98 came out nicely. Kirara running away and then Kagome and Kikyou bonding time L0L

sango you rock!!!
I dislike Shippou too, but I didnt want to bring it up because so many people think hes awesome...
All he is, is a useless whining furball...much like my dog. He annoys Inuyasha then runs to Kagome when Inuyasha hits him. He seems to be as girl hungry as Miroku (but doesnt have idle hands) and as we all know, his little whirling top thing doesnt do help out at all! If anything it makes things worse...
The only thing hes got going for him is his little rock trick. (Which he used on Inuyasha the first time they met) ...No wonder Inuyasha hates him so much...
But I can count the amount of times hes used it on one hand, so its not too helpful overall...!
